They have a deep understanding that what and how people buy is an important statement about value, and although other businesses have used greenwashing and ethical-sounding marketing terms to make sales, Parker Clay practices what they preach.
Parker Clay employ at-risk women with fair wages for responsible work and partner with Ellita Women at Risk (EWAR) to eradicate prostitution in Ethiopia. They work with local farmers and businesses around Addis Ababa to source leather. They also intentionally develop durable and high-quality designs for the long-term, and use processes that make as little environmental impact as possible.
