PRESS RELEASE: MedSys Group Names Nancy A. Ellefson Chief Financial Officer & Ann D. Bartnik Director of Operations and Company Officer

Together, they will provide the company’s senior administrative leadership while focusing on enabling the evolution of healthcare.

Plano, Texas (July 1, 2013) – MedSys Group today announced the designation of Nancy A. Ellefson as Chief Financial Officer and Ann D. Bartnik as Director of Operations and Company Officer. Together they will provide MedSys Group’s operational staff and consultants with unparalleled administrative support, systems and financial guidance. In addition, MedSys Group President, Steven Heck, was appointed Board Member where he will assist in the strategic and operational evolution of the company. These designations come on the heels of the company’s move to their new corporate office in Plano, TX where they will expand their reach and increase client services.

As Chief Financial Officer, Ellefson is responsible for the day-to-day workings of accounting, finance, human resources and information technology in addition to risk and cash management for the organization. In addition she will implement and maintain systems, policies, and procedures that provide the necessary support for internal operations as well as field employees and contractors. Ellefson is also responsible for the overall financial well being of the company through financial planning and analysis of results.
Prior to joining MedSys, her 30 plus years of experience includes serving as CFO of Preferred Restaurant Services and APEX Restaurant Group, Vice President of Finance for Furr’s Restaurant Group and Pizza Inn, Controller for numerous public and privately held companies, as well as a financial analyst with two major healthcare systems, Barnes Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Ellefson is a certified public accountant with four years of public accounting experience with Laventhol and Horwath in St. Louis, which had an extensive hospital practice.

Bartnik will move from her current role as Director of Sales Administration to her expanded position as Director of Operations. In addition to her new duties, she also serves as an Officer of the Company in her role as Corporate Secretary. Bartnik will manage the company’s everyday operational activities ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently and are aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives. In addition, Bartnik will oversee the operational sales and recruiting processes, lead the process improvement team and manage the administrative sales support team for IT Project Staffing and Advisory Services.

Her experience includes over 16 years of sales and marketing in the apparel industry and executive management in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining MedSys, she was Director of Development for Methodist Richardson Medical Center where she was responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive financial support program for a 205 bed hospital complex. Her executive responsibilities included setting the overall direction for the foundation, and execution of fundraising campaigns and the coordination of 29 board members and 300+ community volunteers.

In January 2013 Mr. Heck was named President and launched the company’s new Healthcare IT Advisory Services Division, which focuses on strategic technology management, designed to assist clients in better preparing for the next phase of industry maturation.
