Nancy Miracle, RN, serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. In her position, Nancy works with clients across the country to solve clinical, financial, and operational process issues arising from a rapidly changing technology driven environment.

Nancy’s career began in Critical Care, specializing in Cardiology, and led her to learn the ‘business side’ of health care through Case Management. Moving into the technology realm, she learned about EMR, electronic data and data warehousing from the ground up at Cerner Corporation, earning numerous awards and certifications. Her career progressed with a move to CareScience, focusing on data driven care standards and regulatory requirements. At CareScience, Nancy had an opportunity to work with David Brailer, MD, PhD, first National Coordinator for Health Information Technology for George W.Bush, and participate in the prototype for current day RHIO. Recognizing the impact government would have on healthcare, Nancy was selected as a member of the HITSP committee, the CCHIT committee, and has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Prior to her current role, Nancy was Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Phoenix Health Systems, where her focus was on helping providers – from critical access hospitals to integrated networks – identify, define, and then solve problems surrounding the delivery of care in a technology world – while maintaining fiscal efficiencies and regulatory requirements.
