MedSys Group Steps in Last Minute to Support Major Go-Live

Share

MedSys Group believes that being prepared to support our clients is the key to our success.   Recently, a long-term client faced a major stumbling block.  A large go-live, in progress for under a week, was in serious jeopardy as our client had to unexpectedly replace a 93-person at-the-elbow team when the supplying contractor experienced a significant failure. While we had not previously supplied this service to this client, we stepped up to the plate.

MedSys Group started, as we always do, by taking a brief but critical moment to understand our client’s real scope and needs.  We crafted a solution, since adopted by several other happy clients, to stand up the project with fewer people having more advanced skills. In this way, we were able to support the client’s staff more effectively, while reducing their onboarding delays and costs.

Within 72 hours, MedSys had put together a 55-person support team, deploying our own executives to ensure meticulous ramp-up and deployment. We worked closely with the client, ensuring smooth transition and coverage across all shifts and focusing relentlessly on supporting their users and patients. When challenges appeared, that same executive team ensured that we refocused and reorganized as needed to ensure continuous support. At the end of the go-live period, MedSys personnel carried out a smooth ramp-down as well, completing a superior experience. In the process, we delivered that support while reducing our client’s costs more than 30% from the predicted budget.   MedSys Group’s CEO, Alan Kravitz, commented, “I’m so proud of our team’s efforts.  Between administration, recruiting, executives and our consultants, our team kept focused on our clients’ needs, and didn’t rest until our client and their patients were in a safe place.”
